Uniform/Dress Code
You will be given one or two full uniforms when you are hired!
If an item is lost or damaged off the clock, you must purchase a new one. If lost or damaged on the clock, the store will provide a new one.
Uniforms cannot be kept at the store.
Finger nails MUST be cut short enough to be invisible from the front of your hand on front counter or in hospitality. Kitchen employees may not wear fake nails
Long hair must be tied up in a clean bun or in a tight braid. ANY loose hair in the face must be restrained by headband or clips.
Short hair, if loose must be pinned or tied back from the face and cannot extend past the bottom ear lobe.
At least ONE accessory of hair restraint is highly recommended. (Headband, clips, hats)
NO unnatural hair colors.
You must wear a hair net or hat when working in the kitchen around food at ALL times.
Facial hair on men is forbidden aside from a mustache.
A complete uniform includes:
Issued pants
Issued shirt
Belt
Tall, solid black issued CFA socks
Black, slip-resistant shoes (not paid for)
Name tag
A complete uniform includes the following:
NO bracelets or wristbands are allowed on the arms. Only watches and fitbits are allowed.
NO rings, aside from engagement and wedding rings are to be worn on the fingers.
If wearing a necklace, the pendant must NOT show. Chain showing is fine.
Girls may wear two stud ear rings in the lobe ONLY. Guys may wear one ear ring stud in each lobe. Clear studs in rest of ear is fine.
Small nose studs ok, NO nose rings! No other facial piercings allowed.
If wearing undershirt, must be black, white or grey with no patterns or graphics showing.
Socks MUST be Chick-fil-A approved or solid black (tall).
Shoes must be ALL black and slip-resistant.
You must wear a nametag at all times.
ONLY Chick-fil-A approved jackets allowed.
You must wear a belt at all times (Chick-fil-A approved)
Uniforms must be clean-pressed at ALL times. Wrinkled shirts are unacceptable.
No tattoos on the neck, hands or face.
Tattoo, if showing must be Chick-fil-A approved. Otherwise the tattoo MUST be covered at ALL times when wearing uniform (clocked in or not).
